Believing that young executives should be inspired to develop their leadership skills and continuously strive towards excellence in their performance, Irshad HR Consulting has once again successfully organized our annual event, the Young Executives Seminar (YES 2011) at the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC), Kuala Lumpur. This event took place on the 7 and 8 December 2011 and carried the theme “Inspired To Lead”. Aimed at providing a platform that brings together young executives from across the country, and even bringing in international participation this year, the seminar attracted participation from more than 40 companies, both from the government and private sectors.
The two-day seminar was launched by the Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Y. B. Dato’ Saifuddin Abdullah, whose delivery of an inspiring keynote address managed to engage and excite the audience. We were also greatly fortunate by the presence of Y. Bhg. Dato’ Sri Zamzamzairani Mohd Isa, the Managing Director/Group CEO of TM Berhad who presented the next the keynote address entitled, “Achieving Organisational Excellence – Roles and Challenges for Young Leaders”, on the second day.

Apart from these keynotes, the seminar was also enriched by deliveries by several other well-known speakers, among whom were Dr. Muhaya Hj. Muhammad, a regular speaker on personal effectiveness and motivation with her own weekly television programme, Mr. Timothy Law, a training consultant, the Chairman of the ZAR Group of Companies, En. Abdul Aziz Hassan, Dr. Ridzwan Bakar, the Chairman of the Centre of Excellence for Business Performance in the Multimedia University, Dato’ Dr. Sheikh Omar Abdul Rahman, a Principal Consultant with SOAR Consulting and Irshad’s Chief Operating Officer, En. Ahmad Raji Yaakub. This impressive line-up took part and presented much motivation and information through the concurrent sessions during the Seminar. They sparked deep, thoughtful interest and provided great value while being delightfully entertaining during their sessions. These were apparent from the feedback Irshad later received from the participants who agreed that the YES event should be a permanent feature in the Irshad’s annual calendar of events.
We extend our deepest gratitude to all participants and thank them for their support in making our seminar the success that it was. We would also like to thank the team from PWTC for all their cooperation and assistance, without which would have made it very difficult for Irshad to execute an event of this level. Irshad HR Consulting appreciates the commitment and presence of our partners and clients throughout the seminar. Our gratitude goes out to everyone involved. It is our sincere hope that YES 2012 will be just as well, if not better received.
See you all at YES 2012, a place where future leaders meet!
